Judah Ari Gross's Portfolio

About

Judah Ari Gross was born in Philadelphia. After graduating from high school he took a year off before enrolling at the University of Maryland and traveled to Israel. He began studying journalism at UMD in fall 2008, even editing the campus Jewish magazine, The Mitzpeh. He graduated from the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism with honors in May 2011.

He has worked at a few publications: The Washington Post, Heeb Magazine, The Prince George's Sentinel and New Voices. In the summer of 2011 Judah wrote, took photos and shot video for the News21 national project on food safety, looking at how pathogens are controlled on poultry farms. This chicken was on one of those farms.
